Martin Scott Britt, P.S.M. - Owner/President/Surveyor & Mapper
Scott founded MSB Surveying, Inc. in 2000 and is currently the acting President and Surveyor & Mapper. Scott is a second-generation Surveyor & Mapper in the Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte County areas and he has surveyed for over forty years. His expertise and project experience includes: historical research and local knowledge, boundary, topographic, hydrographic, mean high water, tidal studies, riparian rights, route surveys, construction stake out, subdivision and condominium platting, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, FEMA Elevation Certificates, and expert witness on boundary, mean high water boundaries and riparian lines.

Sandra Britt Culpepper - Office Manager
Sandy is a second-generation of Surveyor & Mappers in the Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte County areas and offers over thirty years of experience in all phases of land surveying including field supervisor, drafting, Project Manager and Office Manager over the everyday business operations for over ten of those years. Sandy also is available for providing technical expertise during the development of site plans, building layouts, surveys including boundary, topographic, specific purpose, e-LOMA and FEMA Elevation Certificates.

Richard Abernathy - Signing Surveyor
Richard graduated Cum Laude in 2006 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geomatics. He has worked in the Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte county areas for twelve years. His expertise and project experience include boundary, topographic, coastal surveys, hydrographic, mean high water, riparian, route surveys, easement descriptions, creating TINS and digital terrain models

Gene Wasson - Accounting
Gene graduated from Northern Illinois University (on the GI Bill) with a degree in Biology. Working initially as property manager for Ramar Group Companies at The Landings and later as broker and manager for a large national real estate firm. He currently manages accounting with MSB Surveying.

Rick Gonzalez - Surveyor in Training
Mr. Gonzalez offers over three decades of experience in all phases of land surveying. He has been responsible for the on-site crew supervision for numerous residential and municipal projects throughout Southwest Florida. Mr. Gonzalez is responsible for providing technical expertise during the development of site plans, building layouts, and final surveys including boundary, topographic, hydrographic, as-built, construction stake-out, and specific purpose surveys. Mr. Gonzalez is fluent in English and Spanish.

Ryan is a third-generation of Surveyor & Mappers in the Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte County areas and offers over ten years experience. Ryan has attended Manatee Technical Institute for Network Support and Electronics.

Jan Ruggiero - GIS Manager
Jan graduated in 1993 from Southern College of Technology, which is also currently known as Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology. Jan also has furthering studies in Apparel-Textile Engineering, Environmental Sciences, and Mathematics. She fully manages the Geographical Information System (GIS) for MSB Surveying which integrates the company’s workflow to improve productivity and growth. This further ensures competitive and reasonable advantages in today’s increasing digital world of surveying and keeps MSB at the top!
